Question re: subscription

I'm all for the subscription model to get 1.x feature improvements to the game, but I have a question as to the costs. I'm assuming the initial $45 layout was for the final game and 1 year of subscription. Following that, is there any idea what later years will cost?

as far as I understand it, the 1 year subscription is for Drengin.net, and not for GalCiv.
My best guess is ,that all upgrades are free afterwards.

My understanding for a GC only subscription is a little different: The subscription for GC alone was also for one year from the shipment of 1.0. My experience with GC/OS2 was that the upgrades (the "dot" subreleases) were free, but a full new version (such as 2.0) was not free, but 2.0 came out about one year after 1.0 did, so I guess the affect was about the same.

I guess a comment from Brad on this will be needed to clarify this.

I really would love a response, since everything I'm seeing indicated to me that 1.0 will be cool, 1.1 will be better, 1.2 will be even better...
