Oh I forgot to mention that. Yea, mouse wheel support throughout the game and it will zoom in and out on the galactic map.

Hey, So it is. It worked on every scrolling situation I could try it on (I didn't try it on the startup screens) where a vertical scroll function could be expected. There were several horisontal scroll bars, such as tax rate, spending rate, propaganda rate, etc. that it did nothing on. I will try it on ship loading in a few minutes.

OK, so it works on horizontal scroll bars too. But it didn't work like I expected it to. I tried to get it to work by pushing the button on my mouse left or right (it is an IBM which is somewhat similar to the "touchpoint" on the IBM "Notepad"). But it expects you to push up or down on the button instead (or would it be called forward or backward).

One thing though. The action on the horizontal scroll bars is, well, a bit backward. Pushing up (forward) scrolls the value down (ususally to the left) and pushing down (backward) scrolls the value up.

So, how does this work on mouse wheels from other manufacturers? If it is different, could something be done to detect which type of mouse wheel is in use and match code action to wheel action?

I have a logitec mouse using Microsoft drivers and it works as it does normally on every other wheel enabled list?

Hmm...I guess it is kind of backward. I just used the same code for horizontal and vertical scrollbars.

I just found a list the mouse wheel doesn't work on. The GNN social completion list. Is there a special reason why? I am not sure I would use it on this list, but since it didn't work on it I thought I should mention it.
