SMUG alert! Careful all you hybrid owners

OMG, as in Oh my gawd!

For a second or two there, I thought that Bakerstreet's newest article (here: Silly, Sad San Francisco) was going to be about the latest episode of South Park and their glorious rip on do-gooder hybrid owners and their unexpected consequences of creating too much 'smug'ness in the atmosphere.

I'm not sure we have Chef's (Isaac Hayes) departure and the battle against Scientology to credit for the inspiration for the new season, but Parker and Stone (creators of South Park) are on their 'A' game and are doing some of their best shows ever.

Tonite's episode skewers George Clooney, San Francisco, Hybrid owners, and a lot more. Watch it, laugh at it, enjoy it.

It's all Stan's fault. Him and his gay little song!

And the smug from George Clooney's academy award acceptance speech. The smug from the hybrid cars, combined with San Francisco, combined with George Clooney's speech to make 'the perfect storm'.

So gloriously riotously funny!

Yes, San Francisco has a very large Smug Problem.

HAHAHAHA

If I owned a hybrid I would be SMUG every time I passed the gas station and its $1.60 a gallon randsom!

I just loved the cloud of SMUGness that came from Clooney's speech... You could keep hearing his Oscars (Academy Awards) acceptance speech clips as it moved along. That, and the graphic with the storm cloud that was forming was a great rip on 'The Day After Tomorrow.'

The best part was who the hero was that went and rescued Kyle. Shhh!

I'm really sad that I missed this. I'm scanning guide+ to see when it comes on again. Thanks for the heads up, this looks like a good one. South Park is about as 'fair and balanced' as anything on TV if you ask me.

It should be repeating tonite if I understood Comedy Central's web site correctly. If not, then I'm sure it will repeat over the weekend a few times, as Comedy Central normally airs new episodes about 6 - 8 times during their premiere week.
