The last game I played is extemely slow 3-5 minutes between turns.
It only depends on the number of ships, the more ships the slower the game gets.
Brad I can Email the game if you need another sample ?
My machine is a P4 1.5GHz with 512Meg RDRam, 64 Meg Gforce 2 video card.
At this point I vote to turn of animation all together if it can be done and helps.
You watch all the ships move.

but if you have hundreds of ships the game is too slow.
