Diplomacy issue

I've been noticing that the neutral races almost never change their attitude towards you. You may be dominating the galaxy and they're still neutral. I had one change to friendly when they had only one planet left. I understand that they are neutral, but even a neutral race should have some reaction to the pressure being placed on them by another race's influence and culture.

On another note, I noticed something wierd while looking at the different races. I usually don't look at who the other races are at war with, as long as it isn't me ;) . But I saw some odd things today. The Arceans said they were at war with the Yor, but the Yor didn't seem to have the same problem with them. The Scottlingas couldn't make up their minds. They were at war and friends with the Yor. Its nothing really major, but I'd imagine it was causing some problems with these races....

Well, more diplomatic wackiness. This is a continuation of the previous game. The Bradians iformed me that since I was at war with the Yor they felt the need to attack me. This, of course, was news to me. Interestingly, the Bradians, aren't really certain what's going on either. They are at war and allied with the Yor. The Yor, however, have no problem with me, I gave 'em the Diplomatic Translators to see if I could change their neutrality, so our relationship is "warm". They do have a problem with the Bradians, and are at war with them.

This diplomatic confusion was minorly amusing before, but now that I'm being attacked because they can't make up their minds, is rather annoying. The Bradians have pretty much destroyed the other minor races, so they are fairly powerful militarily. I'm decent, but I've been putting all my focus to research this game. I've got the game saved if its needed....
