UGO has a preview based on Gama 1 of Galactic Civilizations II along with a bunch of screenshots.

One note we'd like to add to the preview: The actual game (as those who have preloaded it know) comes with a full set of video tutorials on how to play it. ;)

Was this review written after 15 minutes of play?
seems really really short immo and doesnt add much to other reviews.

either way, I WANT MORE VIDEOS I WANT MORE VIDS

I'm sorry but this pre-view seems like a preview of a preview itself if you know what I mean. I ADORE reading literate game fans writing about a given game. Have you read the Adrenaline Vault review of Galactic Civ I? Now that is what I call a decent read.

The video tutorials from the pre-load were nice to watch. Gave a fairly good taste of all the screens. The text they display is too small to read however. The tutorials are something like 500x300.

At least this UGO preview has a whole bunch of screenshots. This one shows the metaverse.

This was already up here before. It had the very same review, that was up here before. The guy talking about how he got his rear handed to him on cakewalk. I thought this would be a new preview. But it's the same one as before that you guys had linked up here. (I Know because I've only looked at previews y'all had up here linked from the front page.)

Just a bit odd is all.

I think they wanted us to laugh of the moron who reviewed the game one more time.

All together now:

"You lost on CAKEWALK?!? BWHAHAHA"

I have downloaded the preload, yet no matter where I look I can't seem to find any "videos" to watch that give a tutorial to the game.

Can someone tell me where I'm not looking? I feel like I'm missing something here...

edit: Aha, its an adittional download thats accessed by expanding the GalCiv2 Icon in Stardock Central

Go to your Galciv2 folder, open the GFX folder, then the Turtorials folder. There are the .BIK turtoials in there. You will need a .BIK video player, look for RAD video tools on google. Then just open the turtoials you want.

something like this worked for me (see link)

note that I scanned the download with my anti-virus, but as always, it's at your own risk.
