Why did YOU Watch the Superbowl?

Being such an animal lover, my favorite commercial was a Budweiser one with the pony. He was trying to haul the wagon, thinking he finally did when they show two older Clydesdales actually pushing it from behind! Oh my gosh was that cute!! I also liked the one with the sheep and horses, and the naked "streaker" sheep! haha very funny.

It was televised here at 1 30 AM.... I wouldnt stay up that late to watch anything.

Before the advent of affordable VCRs, I stayed up to watch the Americas Cup Races (1986 I think) that late.

At least you can see the commercials now!  The game was not that great.

I watched "What Not to Wear" on TLC for the most part. When Ryan got home from work we watched the last two minutes of the game.

Most of the time, when a commercial comes on, I will flip the channel.  But the superbowl is different as most commercials are funny, sweet, poignant and such, so they are worth watching.  Like the Criminal Deterant, or the Office Monkeys........

I would have to say last nights Superbowl was very very forgetable.

The game was two teams I could care less about; thank god i had squares to keep my attention.
The stones are an over the hill band that gave dragged down the half-time show
And there were no over the top commercials this year, my fav was to budlight comm with the bear and two campers.

I saw where some sites have them archived from previous years, but because I missed some this year, I had not thought to look before!

I was most disappointed this year in the superbowl.. it was a drab game and the score was one of the lowest I"ve seen in a long time. I only watched because I bet my friend dinner that the steelers would win by at least 6. Free dinner for me lol.. however I think my favorite commercial was the BudLight one where the guy was having his buddies over and he hid the beer in the fridge but then the wall flipped to show a table and chairs and on the other side, the guys in the next apartment emptied out the fridge.

The Magic Fridge!  And then they were bowing and praying at the wall afterwards!  They may not have been as good as previous years, but there were still some real gems!

The plans my son and me made for this grand evening were snuffed out with a rotten
cold, so I had chicken soup instead of whatever he had planned, the game was a drag,
I never did like the Rolling Stones, now the COMMERCIALS WERE top dog!

I watch the Super Bowl because I like football. I like the new commercials 'cause most of the time they're funny. I hate the pageantry of it all with it's pre-game shows and halftime shows. The NFL wants monster ratings to get a big money contract and to do that they need to draw in viewers who aren't necessarily football fans. I understand all of that but it doesn't mean I like it.

The MAIN reason I watched this year's Super Bowl is because my favorite team was in it. Pittsburgh played their worst playoff game yet made enough plays to make my night. Believe it or not, I was never worried. The only time I was scared was when they played Indianapolis, after Bettis' goal line fumble and Polamalu's interception being taken away I damn near had a heart attack.
