What is the highest level of henchmen or champion that you've ever had in the game? How did it get so high?

That must mean ~800hp per unit? Monstrous trait?
Ah.
The only way I've gotten a ton of exp was in a very long game. You spam that spell that gives your units 1 level up every time it charges.
