[Crash][Bug] Game constantly crashing in various stages of the game

Starting multiple games, each one of them will crash after a while.

These crashes cause my game to stop functioning all together and require me to verify the game through Steam, which goes to download some game files over and over.

Very odd. I have only had one crash in some 6 months of playing the game. And I've played a LOT of games. Maybe you should pass on a dxdiag to Derek.

It only happens on the new The Dead World Map from the DLC.

And after every crash, I need to go to Steam, perform a validation check and it would download the DLC (3.1mb) all over again.

Only then, can I restart LH and try to reload.

I've also tried to delete all content and just reinstalling the game from stratch... to no avail.

Currently playing the newly re-added FE scenario, which is fun.

As parrotmath has reported, there are some big river-type errors that his river correction program can't fix, and the map may need a redesign to fix them.

So I guess it's best to wait for a patched version of the DLC map.

The dead faction provides some great fun while we wait for it

I've sent Derek a fix for all the rivers on the map. Not sure if it would fix the problem you are having, it could be just the hang errors that they fixed for the next patch.
