So, he AI is using spells on the strategic map. Nice and cool.
There are just a couple problem I noticed during my last playthrough:
1) You get NO notification when the AI is using spells such as Pillar of Flame or Falling Star; sometimes you don't notice/understand how your unit has been so critically wounded or has disappeared, especially when playing on cloth map. You DO get a notification for spells such as wither, freeze or city strategic spells.
--> Also, AI seems to be using offensive strategic spells only when units are in their territory (not sure if intended or not, but I must say I'm quite happy that AI on Insane/Insane does not spam Falling Star all over the map as I do
)
2) When you have an already wounded champion in a stack that is hurt by the aforementioned spells, he will sometimes dies. If he is alone (or his whole stack is destroyed in the process), you get an injury notification, and he is teleported back to the nearest town. Nice.
BUT when he is NOT alone, and there are other units/champs that survives the spell, he will still dies an get injured (nothing wrong so far) but when you get the notification, he is teleported and immobilized for five turns.
2.1) Plus, there is an UI bug that make it appears like he is BOTH in the stack (immobilized) and in the town, preventing you to move the stack unless you open army management and create a new army without him. Doing that make the 'duplicate' hero disappears from the map (he is now only in the town).
I think that should be more like in combat: when only one of your champions dies, he is injured but is not immobilized.
Steps to reproduce:
* Have a stack with a critically wounded champ and some units/champs with full HP/Cloak of Nature/Fire resistance/etc. steps in ennemy territory.
* Press end turn.
* The AI will likely target you with Falling Star.
* The champion will dies and the above will happens...
