First off I’d like to say congratulations to both Kael and Stardock. I really believe you are on to something big with Legendary Heroes. The first time I played Fall from Heaven 2 I was blown away. I couldn’t believe it was just a mod. It appears that Legendary Heroes is right up Kael’s alley and I’m sure the finished product will be great. Although I must admit the first time I came across the Yithril I half expected a song by Nox Arcana to start playing.
Having said that I wanted to let you know about a couple of bugs that I came across and then provide some minor suggestions.
Bug #1: Under the Create Sovereign screen – then Talents tab – Weaknesses – the description to Cruel reads “+1 to Attack…” However, when that talent is applied, the icon on the Sovereign reads “+1 to Physical Attack.” The verbiage should match.
Bug #2: The description for Slums does not match when you mouse over the item. One states the unrest will be 5% while the other states 10%.
Suggestions:
City List – Am I the only one who has trouble with scrolling through a large city list on the left hand side of the screen? When you have a lot of cities a scroll bar appears to the left of the city list. However, the scroll bar is so narrow that when you try to grab it with your mouse you end up too close to the edge and then the main screen starts scrolling left. Kinda annoying. Could you please either 1) make the scroll bar thicker so it’s easier to grab, or 2) put the scroll bar on the right side of the city list, or 3) only display cites that need attention (enemy near, build que empty, etc).
End of Turn - After all my players have moved and I have a city that is “Zzzzzing” as soon as I select an item to build or train it triggers the end of turn. Typically, I would que up multiple items. Please have the end of turn “trigger” when you select Done vs. selecting the first build que.
Champions - I think someone has already posted this idea but it would be nice to "build" your own champion. Perhaps from a Champions Hall that you can build in your Capital. You can then select the type of Champion that you need and each level/trait that you select costs fame. You want a level 3 Mage then that's 30 fame. Each trait or skill would cost 10 fame each. Just an idea.
