[.50 Bug] LegendaryHeroes.exe still running after exiting game

After winning my first game of LH, I exited the game and the LH window disappeared. Shortly thereafter I tried to start a new game, but got this message:

Checking Task Manager, I see that LegendaryHeroes.exe is still running. It's using about 12% of the CPU, for what, of course, I don't know. Memory usage, at 1,357,012K, is not going down. Little, if any, network activity.

Killing it with Task Manager lets me start the game again.

I've already complained about it. Happens to me about 50% of the time.

Mine was doing that as well, it was due to Steam snycing my saves to its cloud storage. After I turned it off I have not had any problems. That may or may not be the problem the rest of you are having, so I am just throwing that out there in case it might help.

I've gotten this error, as well. I also get a related error. When I exit LE, and steam is still running (in offline mode), and I attempt to start LH I get a steam message error "-60" . Fix is to go and manually close steam, and then let LH restart steam as part of starting the game.

As a workaround one can kill process in Task Manager.

I think there are some memory hooks the game doesn't let go, even after closing the app. I've had BSoD after exiting and reloading the game three or four times.
