Maybe it's only my game. Right off the bat I got the blade of reaping... it's supposed to possess the reap trait but when i hit it never gives my character HP and it's not listed in his special abilities to do it every once in a while. I havent progressed far enough into the game yet to get it as an actual skill so I don't know if it's passive or active on regular heroes but it's not working the way the text would imply currently.
That might just be that item because I've put the Reap ability on a unit and it's been working fine. It's good for early-game tanks (late game it kinda sucks).
I just found it (Reap) too for an early level hero (level 5) on the Butcher's Axe. Reap isn't working for me either.

I wonder if was a general fix or if the items you encountered need to fixed also?
