[eWIP] ArcaneArtificersMod Mini-Mod [0.4]

This mini-mod add a new faction ability: Arcane Artificers, and a new Sovereign ability: Arcane Artificer.

Arcane Artificers (faction ability)
this ability cost 1 and grant the faction the following advantages:

Sovereign gain the ability to animate a sand golem in tactical battles ( mana cost: 30 - casting time: instant )
Faction gain the ability to train Stone Golem after having researched Enchantment.
Faction gain the ability to train Iron Golem after having researched Blacksmithing.
Faction gain the ability to train Obsidian Golem after having researched Magical_Forging.
Faction gain the ability to train Colossus after having researched Arcane_Weapons.
 

Arcane Artificer (sovereign ability)
this ability grant the following advantages:

Unlock the control construct spell ( tactical charm spell - works only on constructs )
The player will start the game with a Golem Protector ( a 33% size smaller Iron golem with -50% Hp and the shieldwall ability )

Thank you for your reply crimsongekko, looking for it right now.

AND

i forgot to mention that the Obsidian Golem i modified will only be avaiable to Empire Players in that way since it's tied to the Black_Quire Tech, it would be nice if you guys could instruct me on how to make it viable to the Kingdoms equivalent tech.

Disregard, i changed the tech requirement to Magical_Forging.

Nice, will follow.  Also, please look into the mod manager to get it to work with that.  Set that up today, pretty snazzy.

While waiting for enlightenment on the Obsidian golem block, i added a new sovereign ability:

Arcane Artificer

  • the sovereign gain the control construct spell (i shamelesly modified a spell from Stormworld of HAVENFALL)
  • Player start with a Golem Protector unit (an iron golem with the Shieldwall ability)

Please if you try it let me know of any glitch or balancing issues.

Know issues:

1. Animate Sand Golem spell use the Summon Earth spell icon (can't find a better one)

colossi strength is available to all designed units, I think you need to remove the unit_design tag at the beginning if the ability file

also, all sovs get summon sand golem wether or not they have the ability.

it won't work, you have to turn the . into the folder name to a _

I know it sounds crazy, but the game refuses to see stuff into folder with a dot in the name
