Stop telling 'we have a mutual foe' while at war

It makes no sense (1.05frog). I'm at war, I get a message 'we have a mutual foe', without a peace proposal alongside.

In general that message is not terribly useful. There is no action that you can take, and it doesn't influence your relationship with the AI who is sending the message. For that message to be useful, there should be some action you can take in response, otherwise it should just be one of the +1's on the relationship screen, and not a message at all.

As well as the "I don't have much use for kinglings, but faction x is getting super-powerful..." message. I've gotten both from a faction I was at war with.

If we're going to get flavor messages, they shouldn't feel ersatz. They should be more personalized according to the personality of the speaker, and they should have some genuine in-game effect:raising your relationship with the speaker, for example, and letting you *see* that. Cardboard flavor never tastes great.
