When I installed the game for the first time yesterday it set ant-aliasing as x2 by default. When I tried to play the game I could see nothing of the map but a blank white screen except when zoomed out to the "cloth" map when a few game details where visible against a black background. Other screens and menus worked OK.
After reading a post somewhere I turned off anti-aliasing and the game is now playable although the graphics wobble about a bit when panning.
I checked debug.err but there was nothing there that leaped out at me, no specific Error: lines, just some warning lines about missing files etc. I downloaded the game from Steam. I run W7 on a 3.8Mz Quad. 8GB RAM and a Radion HD 7800 series 2GB card. I have left all the AMD settings for the card as default including "leave anti-aliasing to program". I have no problems with any other games program except one:
When I upgraded the AMD drivers from 12.8 to 12.10 couple of weeks ago Skyrim developed a flashing flicker effect in external locations, so I re-installed 12.8 on the grounds it was a bug of some sort and we'd soon get an new update.
Any ideas what's wrong here?
