After creating a custom sovereign for the Faction of Resoln, I was really excited as I was able to make a backstory and everything. Imagine my surprise when not only was my backstory I saved not registered in the gameplay, but I also am unable to build faction specific tech! I build a monument, research enchantment, and lo and behold, I am simply unable to build a guardian stone. It completely breaks my gameplay immersion wise. And also, my tactic is missing an important piece in being able to focus on magic.
When I go to any city founded by a pioneer or conquered from an enemy, I am unable to build the guardian stone after building a monument (or even if it was already built in a city I conquer). The funny thing is, I am able to build a guardian stone in my capital, the city founded by my sovereign. I think this bug has to do with the fact that not even my custom backstory is implemented in the game. It just reads the default and claims I am the default sovereign for Resoln. Any word on if this is a known bug, and if so, when it is being projected to being fixed?
Also, while I'm on this forum (first time)... I just want to take the time to say I love this game, and I thank everyone on the development team for such an awesome, strategical game. I was hooked when I made a custom mounted unit to deal with AI spamming archers
.
Edit: Update... I just realized guardian stone is not faction specific... Regardless, I'm unable to build any with my custom sovereign.
