Beginners Modding Guide?

As there title says, are there any plans to make a beginners modding guide? I've never modded a game, but I really want to experiment with it with FE. I have taken some college level computer science classes and am pretty computer savvy, where/how should I start, even if starting is just to educate myself?

There's no beginner's guide currently. The best way to go forward is to think about what you want to accomplish, then look at other mods and if they are doing something like what you want. If they are you can learn from how they did it.
