I'm getting a few crashes with 1.01; and also run windows 7 64 bit; however I'm not 100% sure what is going on. The patch blew away my mount point; and when I fixed things manually. Then I installed the full 1.01; which said it was first uinstalling 1.0 but the uninstall of 1.0 seemed to not have been clean; not sure here. No clue what FE keeps in the registry and if incorrect uninstall of 1.0 by 1.0.1 install left junk there. Anyways I then uninstall 1.0.1 and then deleted everything left in FE directory since the uninstall seems to not be working correctly and reinstall the full 1.0.1. It seems to run much better but still an occasional crash (dx error; or mabye the dx error occurs after I bring up the task manager. Definitely not the cleanest software I've used when it comes to patching and uninstalling. Given all the crashes it is bit difficult to determine if 1.0.1 actually improves much at this point.
Kind of wish this was a linux game instead of windows; would be much easier to figure out why the patch/install is so broken.
