The UI, like everything else about FE, is so much better than WoM - yet right from the start there are obvious calls for improvement, such as:
- all screens should be closeable with ESC (or a key we can bind ourselves) instead of us having to use our mouse to click on a "done" button
- some of those "done" buttons seem to be missing (e.g. for closing the researchselection - step 2 of the tutorial)
- some screens cry out for their own hot key but seem not to have one, like research for example - I have to click on its tab
- letting us customize keybindings would be nice
