Let me preface this by saying again: thank you Stardock. I’ve been a bad beta tester so far because I was more interested in playing the game than reporting issues - obviously, a good sign. I was so engrossed in the action that if something happened (even a jarring crash!) I assured myself that someone else would report it, and went on. I figured out how to get around the bugs rather than reporting them.
Well, here’s my report. Playing the game from that mindset (rather than to have fun) does tend to make one critical, moreso than usual!
I’ll try to make my playing situation clear, in case that helps the devs:
Win7 32-bit

The inability to snake my city from a great tile to a river or forest could result in interesting choice (mills or essence, for instance), but it just encourages me to Ctrl-N until I find a good starting square directly between a river and forest! Just sayin’.
Settled my capital, then thought better of it, hit Ctrl-N, crash! I am running many windows to report bugs and crashes, so FE is likely RAM-starved - I usually can do 3-4 Ctrl-N before a crash!

Started again, Ctrl-N, crash! Poor FE.

Directed Procipinee to move from forested tile towards ruffians, no obstacles between, but pathing decided to send her through another forested tile!

PLEASE tell me that granary and storehouse are flipped in the tech tree! Storehouse upgrades from granary, but the former is under 3rd-tier tech animal husbandry and the latter is under 4th-tier tech economics, forcing me to research another umpteen turns, THEN build granary and then upgrade to storehouse. I regularly find myself stuck on growth because of this.
The player’s perspective on tiles causes you to often click on one you don’t intend, especially on hills. Should make it select the tile with pixels underneath the cursor.
I have noticed recently that I’m stepping on tiles that look like plains (1x movement) but are really forest or river. They are adjacent, but clearly NOT forest or river.

The pioneers should be travelling down the row past my heroes, the straightest path indicated by the cursor in the pic. However, they veered off to stand next to the banished ogre. Are they TRYING to die? Naturally they were attacked by the Banished Ogre, and continued their movement after autoresolve and died two squares away. ???

Got a random event, Festival I believe! Said it would instantly finish first unit in every settlement queue, but I assume only if they were the first item in queue, because my pioneers weren’t completed (queued behind a mason)!
Gentle Rain and Nature’s Bounty have identical icons.
Again, no reason for the pioneers not to hug the mountains, but veered away to stand next to a forest drake

Note the faction prestige breakdown - I just used a scroll of oratory, so it is probably showing “5” up top because it hasn’t updated.

Equipped burning axe, but counterattacked first turn against bandit dog. Have seen that multiple times with axes, only counterattacks first turn. Not the sharp axe, though.
Zone of control shape is bizarre!

I have often seen that, when I have moved next to a monster to attack it next turn, and it attacks me between turns (and I win), the new turn begins with my army already in the space originally taken by the monster (with appropriate loss of movement). I didn’t move them, and I didn’t pick up whatever goodies are there. Also, they are unable to move again this turn! On the next turn, they don’t move unless I double-click on the new destination.

Now my computer won’t take any more screenshots, don’t know why.
Just moved onto a humble inn with Inslow - didn’t trigger quest screen, he’s just staniding with his head poking out of the inn roof. He was alone, so it wasn’t one of those cases where a higher-level non-champion unit prevents the inn from noticing the champion.
I feel like, since enemy heroes don’t have goodies, they should drop a weapon or pice of armor! Incidentally, why, in a game of ALL KINGDOMS, are there Empire heroes?
The game feels constrained a bit in food and production - I’m researching fairly well, but can’t solve my problems well that way. Production is so low...
After playing awhile, I’m losing some or all icons (turns black, or green in empire tree) for things (improvements, spells, etc.) in the lower left display. Soon after this, I often lose the action bar and empire tree altogether! I’ve seen that other players have this problem in combat after a cast, but my problem is not correlated with spells in any way.
Now I’ve lost the empire tree, action bar, and top bar (all the stuff on the right is still there) Tried saving and reloading, but it crashed. I have always gotten lots of crashes when loading a game from within a game... sometimes I “retire” and go to the main menu, that seems to help.

And that’s my report - my next game is for FUN! Good thing, too, because I played terribly in this one.
