Monsters are gone after reload (0.983)

After installing the newest version and starting a new game I was quite ecstatic about the new monsters I have found (the escaped juggernaut, the new dragon, fantastic!). But after I returned from breakfast and reloaded the game they were all gone! And all heroes too. The lairs still exist though. I checked if the other factions could have killed them but this definitely wasn't the case.

I have overwritten an older version savegame (0.982) with this newer version game (0.983). Perhaps this could have been the reason? I keep it available if you should need it.

Continuing an old savegame with a new version is in general not a good idea. This can easily lead to new bugs and unexpected behaviour. It is best to assume, that new versions are not compatible with old saves. Also, you should move this thread to the support forum. Here is the guideline for reporting bugs.

There was a misunderstanding here: I have overwritten an old savegame filename with an newer version file, not continued playing an old version game with the new version. I always start new games when installing a new version, as I did here.

I will move the post ASAP, thanks for your answer and "viel Glück in Freiburg!"

Oh, sorry. Should have read more careful. My mind isn't working so well sometimes.

Freiburg? The Club is playing today? I have no interest in soccer, but I'm sure they can use some luck.
