Decapitated custom Sovereigns

Bug report - with tongue-in-cheek

I just updated to 0.98. My custom sovereigns have all apparently made a visit to the Bastille in protest of the increase of production costs.

Let the picture speak for itself.

EDIT: Soooo.... the picture thing is not working for me.

On the sovereign selection screen, it shows my custom sovereigns decapitated and wearing only their default undies.

Go to your

documents/my games/FallenEnchantress/units

and remove extra units you are not using. At least this fixed a similar problem I had.

exiting and restarting the game helps me as it doesn't happen to me very often.

I've been having this problem for the last number of betas. Restarting the app always works, but I seem to run into it fairly frequently.

You should look more carefully at the decapitated sovereign itself. You should notice that these sovereigns do not have ANY equipment or ANY traits as well. Makes the game unplayable. This should be a high priority bug for this beta. I would hate for this great game to be given lower scores because this intermittent issue. My post on the same subject allows me to reproduce this effect everytime with my computer. I haven't tried it with this beta yet, but if you are having this problem I'm sure I can reproduce the effect.

This is a persistent problem. Exiting and restarting have no effect. The customized opponent sovereigns suffer from the same afflictions.

I haven't had this happen to me in a while.  Have you tried re-installing the latest full beta version, instead of just the update?  I'm not sure if that's the solution but it may be worth a shot.

Are you playing a mod with the core abilities renamed or changed in functionality?  That can cause permanent headlessness to sovs created with different rules.

No mods. However, right after posting my last comment everyone got their stuff back. Seems to be working fine again!
