Been playing the beta for a while now. A couple of thoughts:

1. cities. its really frustrating not being able to build unless there is grass/grain. I would much prefer being able to build cities on tiles of my choosing and take a production hit as a result of poor land. I'm okay with the distance limits though.

2. managing the garrisons in the city needs to be easier. even a button that says 'everyone out' would be better than having to click through each unit, This is true for army management as well. I would really like to be able to drag units into different groups.

3. I would like to be able to fortify my outposts. Too often I have enemies razing my lands behind my lines and my champions out too far to get back in time. A fortification option would allow me more time to get back and give me more confidence that my lands are protected against enemies.

4. Linked to 3, can I have a spell please that allows me to teleport back to a city. Happy if this requires a building to be able to do this.
