Noticed this too; seems to happen on the plains for me - but difficult to reproduce this problem, because it clears up after the battle and might not happen again next time.

Having similar issues.  It's intermittent from battle to battle, but consistent across a saved game.  IE if it happens once, you can load the save and have it happen every time.

When I have this bug I cannot reproduce it by loading the autosave from the turn before and do the same battle, I am sorry derek .. Meaby I should link my computer to some big bug reporting machine so you can get all the information on each bug directly?

I don't have the problem very often though, my machine is "pretty highend" in my computer experience anyways, so might be directly tied to having low memory, or a smaller cpu.
