This is a repeatable bug. Every time I attempt to engage in diplomacy or dialogue by clicking on the faction name in the faction power window the game stalls and ends up closing

You can fix this by deleting your "C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress\Screens" directory.
This will also be fixed by the next patch (mostly because we are automatically clearing your screens directory).
