Clarification on hardware setup seen in pastebin:
Dell 15z using Optimus display switching. 3D GPU is Nvidia 525m. A 24 inch HDMI monitor is currently primary, using Nvidia while the laptop display is secondary, using the Intel GPU. Both displays are 1080p.
The game displays a sword cursor and then promptly crashes. This is consistent behavior. Updating drivers to 296.10 and will report back.
