What happened to the other main elemental game site?

I recently got an email saying that I had a pvt message in the elemental forum site. I clicked the link and logged in, apparently the old site has been hacked. There is nothing but spammed meds & viagra type posts in every forum thread. The pvt msg I had gotten was on the topic of downloading free xRunner 7.something.
Was the site hacked, did the domain expire, or both?
I wonder how many of that's sites members are legit ...
maybe it was abandoned some time ago, and since then its been steadily taken over by the creep of spam bots?

That (elementalgame.info) is not our site--it appears to be some abandoned fansite overtaken by spam. This here is still the official WoM site, it just got a facelift and some new forum categories.
