I'm running 0.85.044 because the updater said I had the most current version - interesting since I read that beta .86 was released on the 24th of February.

I was about 20 some odd turns into the game.  I had my sovereign and a female adventurer (not sure if that's what they are called) I had hired several previous rounds.  Saw a Butcherman several spaces away and clicked on him to travel for battle.  We left the city and traveled across plains for several spaces.  Once my units came to the forest between us and the butcherman, the game stopped and closed up to the desktop.
