Is it a bad thing to take fellow kingdom faction, even if opportune?
It reduces your popularity with the other Kingdom factions, increasing the possibility that they will go to war with you. But you have to weigh that against what you could gain from it. Also, you can do things like establish trade routes with the remaining Kingdoms to get their opinion of you back up.
