Maybe some of the quests could be per player? That would make exploring the areas the AI has already explored a bit more interesting, and I think per-player quests could fit into the lore.

from 1 side i hated in my game when ai was quite strong and farmed everything
it made the second half of the game a bit boring (even though i just concentrated on war so i wouldnt have time to quest other way)
but from the other side making quests for player only would give a "artificial" feeling to the game
i dont know i think the game need a solution to prevent someway or at least make difficult to farm every quest/monster
btw i tried on normal maybe on higher diff its impossibe cause monster are too strong to take them down fast
