I thought about actually playing the tutorial for once and something funny happened. I got to the "Recruit a champion" bit. The pop-up showed up, with the tutorial message, I clicked on watch the movie, it played it in the small window in the Hiergeminon (70% sure I spelled it wrong) and above it the tutorial message showed up again. I clicked watch the movie again and the game screen (ran in a borderless window) went black. No commands seemed to work, so after fiddling a bit I Alt F4'd out of there.
