AI Capitar asked me to go to war with Resoln, offering me gold to do so. I accepted and went to war. While at war with Resoln, every 10 turns or so Capitar dialogue would pop up offering me gold to go to war with Resoln, even though neither Capitar nor I had ever made peace with Resoln. Yay free money..?

Happened at least half a dozen times in the same game before Magnar rolled me and I rage-quit.
