Thanks to a kind beta player who screencast his games, I manged to get a glimpse of the new FE.  It already looks much more engaging than WoM.  I did notice some bugs in what I could see in the screencast, even though I couldn't read most of the text.  If only I had the actual beta.......

• AI (and the player, but that's another issue ) casting Guardian Wind when there were no ranged units in the fight.  Also casting it multiple turns in a row.  Does it wear off that fast or stack?
• Titan's Breath  (the one that knocks people over) didn't appear to knock some units over, but on their turn, they went from standing to getting up.
• Shrink cast on a multi figure unit only shrunk the guy at the front.  Is this intentional?
• Guarding with a multi figure unit sometimes put the circles around some but not all of the figures.  Perhaps the circle was being drawn below the terrain?
• Wandering monster armies seemed reluctant to attack even undefended cities.

Suggestions:

• Different picture for each level of city level gain.  ie.  small town for the first level, then larger.  There aren't that many city levels are there?
• If there are multiple figures in a unit, can the animation start times be staggared, so it doesn't look like they are some sort of boy band doing synchronized dance moves?
