When creating a new game, and I can choose which AI difficulty to play against, I think the tooltip descriptions
of the difficulties are wrong.
Now I know in much older posts we talked about there being an AI difficulty which is the most intelligent, without being favored with any bonuses.
I'm guessing that would be the Normal difficulty level? "Normal AI progresses the same as the player and possesses average intelligence." (note the bolded word shows a spelling mistake in the game's description)
So the next difficulty level should have the same intelligence but with bonuses? "Challenging AI has slightly buffed units and economic growth rates along with an increased level of intelligence."
Wait a second. I thought we'd get an AI difficulty which is fair but the most intelligent possible, but the descriptions seem to tell a different tale.
"Ridiculous AI has absurdly buffed units and economic growth rates along with a ludicrous level of intelligence."
Hmm...
Please tell me this is all a big misunderstanding.
