My game crashed at least a dozen times yesterday but that was probably because I controlled 20 cities 5 of which were level 5 and had several very powerful hero's roaming around wrecking havoc on anything in their path I also encountered an error where it would say out of memory and crash which was different from the normal crashes 

With that being said I still had a blast. I was on the same map for over 7 hours. one of my hero's now is so powerful that he can take down an epic group by himself. He has on armor that raised his health over 350 hp and a shield that when he is attacked deals damage back to the attacker. plus he has counter strike and double strike and a flaming axe. On top of that he several enchantments on him and an item that heals him for 3 HP every time an enemy attacks or maybe its when they die.

so when the battle starts he gets two swings before the enemy can even attack him and when they finally get there turn the enemy can only deal 1 to 25 damage to him and end up taking a fare amount of damage because of the shields effect. Needless to say that my hero decimates them without much effort especially after I have him cast giant growth on himself. oh and if things get really bad for my hero i can have him cast escape

So he is pretty much over powered.

The next beta coming out this Thursday should hopefully resolve most of the crashes you and I are experiencing, as well as fix some other issues. I cant wait for it to be released.

I successfully managed to complete a Large map, and explore all the land area, and barring some errors when capturing cities I was able to play through to the late stages, and the saves did not become corrupt.  This is on a Win7 64 bit Pro system with 4GB of RAM.  I deliberately avoided the Arena quest (which gives Legendary Weapons) and the Quest that gives Legendary Armor, as these corrupt any save games after getting the techs unlocked.  This bug should be fixed in the next patch.

FYI, I'm on XP and my crash zips were in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Application Data\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress

My game keep crashing at the same place.

First time I try the BETA, version 0.86 (because I just barely got in) and I try the tutorial, wonderful, then I try to create my own commander, I had to do it 3 times before I succeeded to create one without a crash

Then, I start playing, do a couple turns and develop civics, like a bad player that I am, I find a hero, engage him and die a couple times against another hero and against a troll... I thought I was powerful enough lol

Well, I continue, then decide to create 3 militia, after the 2 first I join them to my hero and my commander but I realize that I forgot one, so I wait on the border of my city a couple more turns, the 3rd militia arrive and I move them towards my small army... well, that's when the bad thing happens... CRASH !

Luckily, there's an autosave, happy, I reload, I join my 3rd militia again... CRASH ! Elemental has stopped working

I tried a couple more times and each time I join that third militia to my custom commander, a hero and 2 militia already, as soon as the 3rd arrive: CRASH !

I would gladly give the autosave to the devs if it helps ?

Have had a variety of crashes.

1) Elemental has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution.

2) Out of Memory

3) The programme is not responding would you like to close it or wait for a response (inevitably I have to close).

4) at the start of a new turn I go to make a coffee and by the time I come back I'm back to 1 above (punishment for leaving the game without a suitable sitter).

5) Restart and load last saved game only to find I have a map with no towns, or resource graphics etc. just a plain map. This appears to be completely random and reloading 2,3 or 4 times etc. will eventually get the full map back. However it only tends to last for 3 or 4 turns before I get one of the above after this starts happening.

Have tried several times to send the only zip file that I can find, but on each occasion hotmail tells me that there is a problem sending the attachment.

Ok so the game just crashed, its the very first time i ever have a crash with FE. All i did is move my army and it crashed.

  I went to the Debug directory and there is a bunch of .zip files with the debug files in it.  But then none of em match todays date.

The latest one was dated from yesterday. Is this normal? I thought the debug file was something created when a crash happened.

New 0.86 version much more stable.  Completed large map game with just one crash (at saving game) but was able to reload old saves and finish game.

I get the following windows application Error when I try to load a saved game.

"The Exception Unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application at location 0x017561ab.

Click on OK to Terminate the program."

This has happened me in all 3 games i have started. I think it happens after one of my champions sells an item that was in their inventory. I was very careful this game not to do that, but I had trade up their weapons and I forgot what they started with. None the less my save game, autosave and previous autosave games all cause the exact same error when I try to load them.

Is there anything I can do? Has anyone else gotten this one?

For The past 3 days, game has been great...love it, love it.  Today, every single new game crashes 3 turns in..then i go to my old saves and everything is fine.  Sometimes i just want to ram my head through the monitor.

Crash on Fallen Enchantress 0.86 with a group of archers/ice savants while fighting 3 legions of darklings and a darkling shaman.

Occasionally tactical auto combat would hung as well.
