In FE Champions can be the source of spells, so why not a champion with a unique focus: Spiders. The spider enchantress is a master of training, breeding and controlling giant spiders. She is a master of spider magic.
Recruit the Spider Enchantress and you can;
1. Research spider riding and have your units ride into battle on giant spiders
2. Gain access to spider themed spells
- Summon Giant Spider
- Cast Web on your opposing unit to freeze them in place, unless they resist
- Spit poison on a champion in range to dis-orient them, reducing their reflexes (initiative)
- Summon a horde of small spiders to panic untrained troop
