I would like to see a chance for an Empire Sovereign to have an evil AI that executes a scorched earth campaign of total war.
What is an Evil AI? Its an evil dedicated to pillaging, plunder and destruction. This AI learns magic to drain the land of life and lives to ensalve and erradicate the people of the kingdoms. Kingdom cities and outposts that it captures are likely to be razed to the ground and its residents enslaved.
Unlike the standard AI the Evil AI focus is on building a few strong cities and razing captured enemy cities. Its armies are not tied down defending captured cities. Its champions follow the strategy of Sherman's March to the Sea scorched earth campaign.
"Sherman therefore applied the principles of scorched earth: he ordered his troops to burn crops, kill livestock and consume supplies. Finally he destroyed civilian infrastructure along his path of advance. This policy is often considered a component strategy of total war." - Wikipedia
In WOM I found this to be a highly effective strategy, that the AI was not able to counter. Having an opportunity to confront an AI that follows this strategy would make for an interestng battle of strategy and tactics.
