Kantok, the unit becomes smaller the more you zoom in in the strategic map. In the screenshot below you see what size the chasm hexagon rocks actually are in game. Compare them to the size of the hexagons in the shot in the OP, and you understand that the shot is zoomed in. A lot.
Obviously that shot is zoomed in a lot. I've played many hours of WOM and understand how it scales units as you zoom.
That's not, and never was, my point. Look at the "smaller as you zoom in" units. The "Me" in the OP shot or the selected guys in your shot. Then look at the size of the big ass worm thing in the shot in the OP. That big ass worm thing is a monster. No monster in WOM had a scale difference equal to the difference illustrated in in the OP shot. Look in the picture you posted and show me a monster that has a similar scale difference.
That's why people were asking if this was a tactical battle. You get some sense of scale difference in tactical battles (dragons vs. heroes, for example). But you never got a scale difference between two units on the same strategic screen which is obviously at the same zoom level that you get in the OP shot.
