I would like to see the designers add a selection of tactical fire elemental summoning spells to the Book of Fire
- Note: Though fire elementals are immune to fire magic they suffer double damage from water magic spells.
- Note: These summoned fire elementals remain on the battle field for 1 turn per caster level
Level 3 - Summon Fire Imps (tactical) - small creatures, similar to darklings but of the fire plane. These uncontrollable monsters attack the creature; friend or foe, closest to their location. Move your units too close to them and these imps may attack them instead. A wise general ensures that his men are not the closest warriors to these uncontrollable monsters.
Level 3 - Summon Fire Beetles (tactical) - These giant beetles spit a stream of fire. Metal shields protect the bearer from their flaming spit and reduce damage by 50%. Fire mages find fire beetles to be especially useful against warriors without metal shields.
