Game doesnt actually crash so there was no zip file in the data folder

OS: Windows 7 64bit

The problem: I load the game and I can only get one more end turn out of play before it locks up. 

-I start the game, load the save

-Click End Turn (no problem)

-Click End Turn again and part of a notification pops up on the right side of the screen (Not a windows system notification, an in-game, "something is happening" message.) and the game locks. I can't even alt tab out of it. 

It happens like this every time. I upgraded my nvidia drivers, rebooted, turned down 3d fx, tried in windowed and full screen mode... 

Does anything stand out in the debug or save game files?
