After the player reaches the fifth magic level, the spellbook will pop up after every turn even though the player is not researching any more spells. Since the spell book can be accessed easily by clicking the spellbook icon at the bottom left of the screen, it might speed up the end turn by disabling the popup. This would not affect gameplay in any way and could easily be accomplished by having the spellbook research a "NULL" spell infinite loop in a separate thread until the player clicks on the spellbook icon. I mention this because previous iterations of the game had the spellbook researching non-existent spell levels which accomplished much the same thing. Anything that speeds up the end turn is worth a shot, especially since it would be easy to do. Also some of the messages that pop up such as, "adventurers released monsters into the wild" are just random and totally pointless. Again, disabling these would not affect the gameplay and would simply eliminate something that is more of an irritation than anything else. In case someone gets the wrong impression, I'm enjoying the game very much now (ver 1.2) and the last two games I played went to almost 1000 turns.
