Elemental crashes to desktop, with no message, a couple of seconds into loading the included save game. It also crashes when loading several other of the most recent saves. If I go back far enough a save will load, but the map is empty (no units, no cities, only fog of war). If I go back far enough it loads playable (but I really don't want to start over all those turns!!).

It has previously occurred that a OoM or CTD has corrupted my save games, but never failed to load them (or it at least loaded, but on occasion with an empty map).

I have not noticed the crashes occurring at any particular time or with a particular event, except for the occasional crash when saving, although this is not the case here. When a save game does become corrupted, the only strange behaviour is that it seems to always affect several saves in a row, in order of most recent save back (I always have a 'Start' save at the beginning of every game and it always seems to load fine).
