I have hired a lot of champions... it's my strategy. I think, however, that I may have reduced their price too much. My sov is a bard, several of her children are bards, and now it costs over 4 billion to hire a champion. Whew!

Last time I played a under the first 1.1, I ran into a similar issue. Coinsidently, with a female bard sovereign and several bard children.
Any chance your children are also very ugly?

Same issue here, Female bard Sovereign and bard children, excepting that heroes are asking for 4 Trillion. That's a lot of gametime ;^^
