textureatlas.exe

The textureatlas.exe keeps crashing during install. Causing the game to be installed with a majority of passive UI elements missing(can only see text/icons on the UI all other items are missing).

 

 

XP
AMD six core machine
ATI Radeon HD 4850 X2:9.12 drivers being the most stable and the ones I use. It is not the drivers the installer worked fine pre-1.11, and updating is out of the question.

Still an issue in 1.19

 Using ATI 11.1 drivers now(issues in 10.12 were fixed).

Still in issue in 1.19a beta
Correction it's called the 'create texture atlas files.exe'.

Please try the following:

1. Delete all files in the C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic\Screens folder.
2. Restart Elemental. 

This should cause it to generate the screen files again.  There may be a short delay at the splash screen before the game brings you to the main menu.

If this does not fix the issue, please let us know.

 It has no effect, since the textures are not there. The problem lies with the executable I mentioned earlier and correctly named in this post.

 Also it's the DXAtlasWin.exe the name I mentioned earlier is its description.
