Multiplayer questions

Every time I try to create a game it says something to the effect of no servers...

Is there a post I missed somewhere?

Let me rephrase:

I wanted to play multiplayer (LAN) on my 2 computers. Can I not use my login twice? If we create another login, does that account have to be linked to another unique game serial?

I thought it was mentioned you could use 1 copy to play LAN by itself.

also, is there actually a LAN feature or is just all my comps connecting to the server anyway?

and why is it only tiny and small maps ?
