every time I try to run this game by any method I get the same error  This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem..

sadly re-installation does NOT fix this... nor do any of the updates. the game does not actually even TRY to run that error is instantaneous and no logs are made.

BTW I cannot search the forums so if this has been answered please refer me to that thread... hitting search on the forum page after entering my search criteria simply does nothing at all.
