Essential to making Elemental "Standardized"
-Combat Improvements
1. An AI unit in the front should move first as to prevent blockage.
2. Archers should always attack first if in range. Otherwise other team mates should move first as to not cause blockage.
3. Weak units, or valuable units such as kingdom/empire heirs shouldn't rush past his guards towards the enemy. Especially if they have no equipment and run head first in to a 500atk legion stack.
-Suggestions for combat
There could be certain tactical advantage/disadvantages added for units (such as)
1. Implementation of damage bonus for multiple units surrounding one unit
2. Royalty and Champions being more balanced against late game doom legions. About 150 Atk champion vs 500 Atk per legion stack.
- This ones hard, but I'd like a way that sovereign/champions can actually still have combat use later in the game.
-Item Suggestion
1. Axe has lower Atk than an Oak Spear, yet costs more. (I'm guessing the stats were reversed.)
2. Axes could use more prominence in the game. I don't even care much for them personally but their lack is noticeable.
-Monsters Grouping
1. On ridiculous impossibility, there's too high of a chance for civilizations to be wiped out by roaming bands of bandit/monster combos.
I recall being attacked 6 times before I could even make one expansion. At this point 3 other civilizations already wiped out.
(Although it could still be called ridiculous if I won like this.)
-Spell Bug
1. The lvl 5 combat spell which was described as "absorbs hp for the damage you give to your opponent" seemed to do absolutely nothing other than consume mana for the initial cast
-Character Creation
1. I don't really see the point of using my sovereign for combat without the ability to apply the "Dominance" skill when its so overpowered. Either add it to creation or remove it from the game entirely. Should cost something like 30 points IMO (Yeah its that overpowered).
-It would probably be balanced if it was made an extra regular attack that doesn't use movement, every so and so turns. Something like a Swift Strike.
-Odd Sovereign Stats
1. Oddly the Queen of Pariden has a maxed 15 constitution. She is the most petite sovereign, yet tougher than a 9 foot monster. (?)
2. Said 9ft monster sovereign has 18 out of 15 max str.
3. Some of the NPC Sovereigns still have skills like "Organization" when it was supposedly patched out.
-Customization
1. I'd really like the ability to add default sovereigns to custom kingdom/empires. It shouldn't take too long (I'd think).
2. Ability to create custom spouses because you either end up marrying the 1-4 spouses available in the beginning of the map or play this waiting game where your likely to end up single and die alone (Perhaps a little more realistic for the romantic computer nerd??)
-My Experiences
-I've beaten the game on Ridiculous with all AI sovereigns at Ridiculous as well with Conquest wins. At this point of time I'd say technology win via magic/quest is way too easy. Unless were talking about Ridiculous/Ridiculous with Epic pacing...Nothing I'd enjoy on my 2003 PC.
-In conclusion
The game has gotten much better in 1.1 and I'm sure by 2.0 you guys will have one of the most epic games in history. Thank you for your continued customer support.
