I won a tactical combat against umber's level 4 city and after their last unit died the entire combat interface hung and I could do nothing. The auto-resolve button could not be clicked and I couldn't even alt-tab back to windows. Because it never actually crashed I don't have a dump file to include with the save game and the .err file below.
