[Epic] Bosses & Guardians

I've always wanted to see 'epic' types of bad guys, you know, the bad guys that are so damned powerful that they can wipe your whole technologically advanced army out in a single shot? I'm not talking about epic factions, but rather..


- Epic bosses that protect places such as the Lost Library, and other ancient ruins.

- Epic bosses that roam the land once triggered, and they ravage the country side.

- Epic bosses that roam the land which are randomly generated, and perhaps they can found their own city.

 

They could have a random name generator specifically for this, that make the names of these bosses sound 'epic' as well. Such as..

Kelvar the Invincible

Amon the Supreme

etc.

Perhaps upon killing them, you may get some 'epic loot', such as "Kelvar's Plate Armor" or "Amon's Staff of Power". Or, perhaps the ability to use the resource, if they are guarding it.

It's a cool idea, but I think it shouldn't be high on the priority list compared to many other, more fundamental, gameplay changes and concepts.

Depends how full the workload of stardock is atm... I think it would be smart for stardock to have at least one person filling in content for the upcoming patches... making weapons, quests, heroes, spells and uber monsters.

Yes, and guardians/bosses are probably less important than abilities, tactical combat overhaul, more attractive spells, and more varied and flavorful gear and units. How, and less boring terrain. I'd also like dungeons, but I know that, just like guardians, they rank low in the priority list.

I never said this had to be worked on right now, it's just an idea I had that they could do later, perhaps for an expansion.
